    and the cap, itself, was made by this other maker who was the widow of someone, a small maker in the deutsche Mittelgebirge.

    Mr. Mint knows, as I found the missing link.

    I had a signals cap like this. Globus was in Nuremberg, I think.

    I even have an advert for them somewhere.

    A nice piece with patina. The signals cap I had from this firm was extremely nice, and had the same Stirndrueck Einlage.
