The cap was made by Isken of Cologne in 1962, deep in the cold war. It is for Bw medical troops. By the 1970s the caps were of a lighter color.
Isken also made this cap some three decades earlier. Without putting too fine a point on it, the one I attach here is worth more than the Bw one, but I am also quite fond of the Bw uniforms, too.

Many post war caps have been converted to 3rd Reich caps. Compare the construction of your cap against original examples. Compare the soft sweat shield, which is found in reproduction hats, against the rigid material found in period caps. Happy collecting.
