Opinions on SA kepi?

I am currently considering to try and get this SA kepi. But since it would be my very first piece of headgear I figured I'd better post it here first and ask for your expert opitions. I have a somewhat strange feeling specially about the chin strap.

What do you think?

I have serious doubts about this cap.
No air vents, chinstrap not right. Liner is not right either.
Just my opinion.

I concur with Steve. This kepi's construction is not close to that of any period kepi I have owned. I feel it is a product of the 4th Reich. Save your money for a better example.

Could this be post war? or is it just 4th Reich as Bob said. This is a new one to me.

The wear of the kepi ended with the collapse of the 3rd Reich. The two vertical holes on the front are trying to represent the absence of the 1929 pattern eagle.
