No expert by any means but it seems to match other examples i have seen, my only concern is the eagles head/beak seems a bit deformed!...

Thanks guys. Hope it is the good stuff. I ve been offered it from a friend. He lives by a huge atlantikwall fortification and found the cap when he helped empty his grandparents house some weeks ago.
