    Hardly. I no longer own this item, or two others like it. However, since many apparently have no idea of the appearance of authentic items, I include them.

    I do own several army caps and three Pz ones, still, but I surely do not own an SS Pz beret, though I was offered one at one point, but it was a well made fake, that is, made from real parts.

    I must agree with all of you, The liner is most definitely West German. I picked up a field cap with said liner a while back but I understood it was West German. The eagle is far to new. As is the skull. F.B posted a splendid example to compare to. Again mot gents will say this but some of these auction sites can get pretty sketchy. Instead of said sketchy sites there are quite a few highly recommended online marketplaces that sell Genuine World War two collectables and memorabilia for fine prices. Grenadier, Lakeside, etc. Best of luck.
