    Ladies & Gentlemen,

Weitze presently offers a Peküro artillery officer which displays a peculiarity I have never seen before:

a kind of flat metal spring behind the sweatband in the area of the peak/visor. Has anybody ever seen something like this (apart from the spring steel strips inserted by Kaps into his caps in certain places)?

Wolfgang, no, I have never seen it on any Pekuro.
It appear to be the result of some repair work after the fact to help the cap retain its shape.

Never seen that either, seems like the "retain it's shape" theory best explains the addition of the spring. cheers Tony
