I thought so too or I wouldn't have posted it for a "final" check. Comes from a dealer whom I know to be more than reputable. But since that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, I have compared this to all others that have been confirmed as authentic both on this forum and in other locations. I find it to be very close if not 100%. I know just from police M43 Cap insignia that variations in the cap eagles to be as many as 3 or 4.

Ade, judging the cap and the eagle apart, do you have any issue with either?

I like what I see so far. This Polizei eagle has always looked strange to me, almost like the bird has a smug grin but I have no reason to doubt the originality based on other examples I have seen.
