A rare General's Tschako:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
This is a really nice example of an uncommon Shako. These Tschakos were worn by the Verkehrspolizei, or Traffic Police.
They are white-laquered Vulkanfiber with a gold eagle.
The white is for higher visibility:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Very nice. I have always wanted a close look at one of those.

It's the first pattern police eagle. They were in use officially from 1934-1936.
