Francesco, I love your cap ! a deal is possible with?
I saw a few berets here so I'll post my Favorite head cover!
Thanks for sharing, that's an exceptional artifact!
My new favorite Alte Art; Cav Rgt 13
This General Staff Alte Art is okay as well.
Very handsome cap with poetic patina. Except, from the color I see I would say it is Panzertruppen, which is also perfectly nice. Those pesky Germans and their reds, greens, yellows and blues are yet another aspect of the past that confounds us.
This cap is also a nice one, in fact. Whether it is or is not of the SS VT era, I do not know, but the buttons for the Gehirnbremse know and they are not telling.
Such early ish grey SS caps are hard to find, and harder to find in a box.
Of course, one could add a box without too much trouble, but the cap is rather nice.
Hi FB, I have heard a good bit of talk around that SSVT cap. I wonder who acquired it...
My Alte Art is indeed General Staff piping; not that I would mind another Panzer Crusher you know... Photos are sometimes deceptive.
Your cap you post is a poem no matter what, very nice thing, indeed. The "SSVT" cap sold quickly and I imagine it went to such places as Russia or China, where it will perch atop some nouveaux riches head that would appall Hausser or whomever. Your silken Pz cap is also a very nice thing, too.
