and pretty rare at that, to be sure. an impressive cap.

Now who would waste a beautiful flat wire officers eagle on an E.M. cap?
Oh yeah...an SS N.C.O.
One of my favorites too!

Very impressive items, and thank you for showing these remarkable pieces and for your presence here. You will find this place more congenial than the ding bat site.
Encourage Mr. Sayle F to show more of his thingies.
He has a very fine collection that would be the envy of most, in fact.
He is also one of the sole "scull" collectors with whom I have cordial relations.
Diestelhorst tried to sell me an SS beret ten years ago that he claimed had belonged to David Delich, which I demurred from buying.
I think that colleague Hritz still has his SS beret, does he not?
He is the boss here, maybe he will report in.
In any case, thanks and we profit from the nice material.
Nice berets. Thanks for showing
Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377
F.B.,
I have always encouraged Mr Sayle to show more thingies, all too often he includes himself in the photos and frightens many collectors.
He does indeed have an enviable gathering of fetid things.
He is one of the only honest, knowledgeable collectors I know...too bad he is so anti-social, but still quite handsome.
Richard
P.S. Bob Hritz still has his beret.
Here is my Kriegsmarine Schirmmütze für Leutnant zur See bis Kapitänleutnant.
