However, he preferred wearing his WH General's uniform most of the time:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Carl Eduard was one of the few within the NSKK, granted for the Ehrenführer cuffband
(NSKK-Korpsbefehl Nr. 18 from May 7, 1935). At that time only eight persons were.
He was also the "big boss" for the Reichkraftfahrstaffel from Der Stahlhelm (Bund der
Frontsoldaten), ranked as Reichs-Staffelführer (Stahlhelm-Kraftfahr-Handbuch, 1930)
until the veteran's organization was disbanded and incorporated. The Kraftfahr-Staffel went into
the NSKK. By this the NSKK grew enormously.
In the early 1930's he had even more functions,as for example:
Der Beauftragte (plenopitentiary) für das Kraftfahrwesen beim Reichsverkehrsminister;
Führer der Nationalen Motorfahrt (Ring der Nationalen Motorfahrt) and I am sure I
can find some more!
Not to topic, but maybe the information is appreciated by some of you!
