    This is a private-purchase piece, and is wartime, circa 42-43.
    Body is Trikot, but is very plush, almost like doeskin.

    Maker tag--Johann Brenner of Augsburg. Brenner was actually a tailor, so this hat may or may not have been made by them.
    It is uncommon to find Bevo maker tags in use during the TR.
    Sweatband is oilcloth, which has stiffened over the years:
