Question about M43 caps

Gentlemen,

I have a question about M43 caps, especially M43s single button type. Now I know the SS, the Luftwaffe and black panzer types are known with single button. Are there any known examples of single buttons that were Heer issued?

I've researched this a bit and it seems that the single-buttoned variant of the M43 field cap was only used by Luftwaffe and the SS. I don't know why that is though.
