I love it Matt!!! it's got a great shape, pity about the eagle but you will have fun shopping for a replacement.

thanks for your comment! Yes I agree, I like the shape too and the moth damaging is quite limited and with an eagle it could become a beauty!

Zeller, I concur with the above statements, great looking cap !..I just love the condition, been there, done that, salty look, items in this condition are what I prefer....I show an officers schirmmütze in my collection from another era (pre-1897) in similiar condition.....
