    Cheers Fred,

IR 13 split in 1940 and their are several units formed from it's cadre none of which seem to have the combat history to match the pictures in the album from the campaign in Russia. The Lexikon sometimes creates more questions than answers !

I do love a puzzle though.

FYI ....been looking on the Lexikon some more and just Found a Major Keller..........III btl commander IR 507. This must be this man as the regt was formed from a cadre of IR 56 no less.

    On we go.......
