    What you have is a rare BAHNSCHUTZPOLIZEI officers cap w/silver and black mixture chincord.As to value thats hard to say.A Bahnschutz officers visor goes for (ballpark) $1,100- 1400 USD.Some dealers will ask more and some less!Yours as a rarer visor who knows near 2k & only a guess.Goodbuys PS. There are three visors for the Bahnpolizei officer ranks.First is the Directors visor which has gilt emboidered wire while the cockade is metal!Next is one similar to yours except the chincord is all silver.This is for Stabsfuhrer-Abteilungsfuhrer.For lower officer ranks is the one you own and its quite rare as hats go.ENJOY!

    I can't find one of the light-blue Officer ones in wear, but here is the dark-blue version worn until 1940.
