Schutzpolizei schirmmütze

Hello forum.

I have the oppertunity to buy this schutzpolizei schirmmütze.
It is marked with hersteller: willy Sprengpfeil Hamburg
And 1938. A size 56 1/2
Would like some opinions on it..
It should be for enlisted man so i pressume a leather cord is missing and not a silver officer cord?

No need to double post the Schirmmütze Ullergaard. Just be patient and one of the 'visor guys' of the forum will help you out. Have you thought of using the search engine?

Hat is a good Schupo NCO visor by Willy Sprengpfeil.
Many of these Schupo NCO visors were made with officer buttons, as the 2 senior NCO ranks could wear officer cords.
So, in that sense, the hat would be correct with either a leather chinstrap or officer cords (the latter being easier to find and fit on the cap).

I do have a silver cord so that could be fitted onto the visor.. thank you for the reply, and please feel free to remove one of the post..

And it would be okay to fit a silver cord hence it is going to be displayed with this tunic from a meister der Schutzpolizei.. only missing the arm eagle now:-)

Just to show a beautifull eagle to finish the tunic!

Found this hamburg eagle to go with the tunic..
Now it just needs to get sewn to the tunic.
