the eagle and skull are 100% original. Just the cap is my question.

Seems like its a visor cap missing the visor, I could be wrong though, just the high front of the cap, like it should have a visor on it.

Really nice insignia on it though.

Yes the visor is indeed gone, but no poblem It's hard enough to find one like this at a "reasonable" price.
The insignia are period applied. The eagle is a nice Wagner M1/8, and the skull is a unmarked first type.

As long as the insignia is good, it really doesnt matter, stinks big time the cap is not complete.

    Still a nice looking set.

It can't be restored with a period one

It could be, as i have done one for a friend a while back, the caps visor he had was chewed on by a animal of some sort, and he had a cap that was ate really bad by moths, to the point where the cap was not even worth having.

So i took the good visor off the bad cap, and re-sewn it onto the good cap.

Took me about a week to do it by hand, as i took my time, and did it right the first time.

I used original Allgemeine SS Black RZM marked period thread for it.

I may be wrong, but i think majority of the visor cap bills were the same, so if you would want me to do, just let me know.

    thanks
