ID:	864880According to Wim , whom I describe as a master, but who sees himself with exemplary no. European modesty as merely a cog in the wheel of knowledge, this model of cap was no longer made after 1936. It is item Nr. 714

ID:	864877Two Fa. Mueller caps of slight variation.

    - - ------- - -

one is the normal Sonderanfertigung with the RFSS model details, and one has the maker's logo. The one with the maker's logo is made out of a finer grade of textile. It is illustrated in the
Wilkins book. The maker's logo was forbidden after early 1935 in contract made caps for the RZM/ SS procurement system via the former.

ID:	864882I have tried to collect the variety of models of the officer's cap, which you can see here. That is, the cap ca. 1932-3 and the cap in its variety a few years later.

ID:	864973The variable crown was already a feature in the old armies, i.e. in the epoch prior to 1914.
