As I know a lot of fakes in the market. This one I will post as example. This one with a grommets, made without the eagle and scull, known examples with insignia seen without grommets. This one is old Riga's attics fund, and preserving in uncleaned condition, just the dust removed. Note: miror type of the grommets must be in all original examples

But that's a problem, sometimes a nice item can be recognized as the fake by the picture, or it's a unsubstantiated words, just to show that someone has a big experience....

Hi everyone

At the different forums around the world there is a lot
so-called experts.
They can, and will, allways tell you that the things that you show are
fakes...
I dont know why they can tell that, just by seing a picture or two...

I want, personnaly, to have the iteem in my hand before i
can tell anything about a iteem....
Because there is a lot of fake-iteems in the collections,
and today they are made allmost like the originals...

I hate these forums, because of alle the "experts"

For the time im just at this forum, and a danish forum.
And that it just because i dont want to use my time on "experts"...

Some collectors are just interested in discussions about originality...

For me its a waste of time....

Personnely i love to see what other collectors have in private collections.

It's a right of each persone to make the discussion, another way that a lot of peoples makes their opinion based on the words and opinions of others, no own opinion. But I prefer to be a friendly, instead of abuse.

Yes, every person have right to have their own opinion
about the things that we show at the forums..
Its a human right !!!
But it have to be in a friendly friendly "fire"
I know several colletctors who dont want to join the forums
because of alle the "experts"...
And that is a shame

Lot of thiese "experts" just write that its a fake,
but they never tell you why ??
And that is not fair !!!

But i hope that this forum will be a real good one...
