Strange German cap...can you help me ?

Hello the caps collectors, I would like your help about that cap...it's German I think in WW II period...but....not more information to me...

Hi

my view is that it is 1950's period. This is based omn the interior mainly as I think the crown material is the waterproofed cotton found in the fire brigade caps of that era. I have seen several examples with this material and also the chin strap is shiny to the degree I believe is plastic coated rather patent leather look. Again the chin strap looks very similar to ones I have handled before. The logo on the celluloid looks a bit modern to be 1930's/40's IMO and the cap itself is I believe for a civilian organisation .

But I'm no expert........
