Strange German WW2 Field Cap ?

Good morning gentlemen has any one ever seen a field cap like this before the seller says that it is German WW2 but I have never seen one like this have tried to research it but so far I am not having much luck .Sorry dont know what happened to the pictures cant enlarge them I will see if I can fix it.

Not a German WW2 field cap, but otherwise, no idea...

I did not think that it was an issued cap as I could not find any info on the net about it but I am still very curious about its origin as it is a sharp looking cap.

looks like a US cap, cold weather,...I've seen them in green and tan and different linings,..I've owned a few....
