Thoughts please
Can I have opinions on this cap? I thought it was Motorized Battallion but the piping colour seems off. I found Max Lindner on the list of TR manufacturers - but it has a telephone number on the protection diamond and I haven't seen that before... is it post-war?

Caroline, hat appears good from these pics, but you are right, that is a very odd shade.
My first thought would be faded Cavalry (golden yellow) or Feldgendarmerie (orange)?
How does the piping look under the rear overhang (which is usually not exposed to UV light).
