Let me take this opportunity to thank Adrian Stevenson for running a fine website and wish him a happy new year, and may all the fakes decrease in number in the year 2010.
May providence bring us more authentic regalia and reasonable discussions of same.
I also promise to share what I learn with Uniformenmarkt, too.
I wish I had said that

Indeed, Ade runs a fine site.

It certainly has been a great learning experience for me.

Best for the New Year to all mad collectors of this ephemera.

May the hat fairy bring you many pieces of head wear at a safe and sane price in a happy new year.

Thank you. Please send your blonde friend to visit and maybe she will return to France with a hat on her cute head.

Happy new year filled with pleasant things, like women.

I suppose I am a maniac, that is true. These things have a hypnotic effect.

As Tom Cruise has not yet returned my officer visors (damit, basta!), here is an oddly similar picture of less stature:

Hi all, and thank you for sharing your knowledge.
About the SS visor, IŽll talked to an expert on Russian Visors/Caps and he said that its not a russian marinevisor, the top "body" is much more wide on a russian visor, he also thouhgt that the visor is from the time of ww2 ?? Could someone tell me why its a 100% fake. as I wrote before I dont have the knowledge, but would like to learn,

    br, Gustav jr
