Certainly looks like that is a strong possibility. Photos are not that clear but I would agree

I heard of visors having their piping coloured from white to more collectable colours.
With the under the chin strap photo of the original white still showing I'd think thats what you have here.
Probably dyed to Panzer Pink, but it has faded out over time.
These additional photos confirm it for me. Someone re-colored the piping.
When? who knows. I will say it doesn't look recent. I have heard in extremely rare cases of this being done war time but proving it is near impossible.
Someone more experienced that I might be able to answer that.
