This is actually an M-36 eagle in gold, not an M-37--somewhat rare to find:

Hat is made by my favorite maker--Peter Kupper of Wuppertal-Ronsdorf (PeKuro).

Hat is a giant-sized 61. This is one of the rare occasions in which a Pekuro hat does not have the black-velvet Stirndruckfrei system (and it is not marked for it).

FYI, a lot of DAF Fest visors are re-badged with Werkschar insignia. While it is possible a thrifty Werkschar member did it, I tend to think most are postwar upgrades. DAF Fest hats have smaller crowns, profiles, and are more teller-shaped. This is a Fest hat:

The easiest way to tell a "promoted" Fest cap from a Werkschar is that the Werkschar visors use longer oakleaves on the band, and the band for the W/S is NOT ribbed: (The Fest is on the top, the W/S on the bottom):

This pic shows the size difference between the Fest visor and the Werkscharen visors.
