Hi Ben,
Great to see that your investment arrived safely. Love that leather peak - speaks of character.
I've got some spare pebbled silver and black nco chincord buttons if required. Gratis
Well done on a great score.
Steve : )
Found some buttons and took more pics today, there is some slight mothing around the centre band but nothing major.
I'm putting this one up for sale on the forum if anyone is interested.
Nice cap Ben.
cheers
tony
The strangest things please me. Notice how the black coating on the underside of the peak flaked off and one flake ended up under the celluloid shield inside the cap. It's stuck on there good and proper!
I asked via PM about this style of service cap with leather cap and why/when it was worn.
Well a picture tells a thousand words as they say. You can clearly see the difference between the Generals cap with it's vulcanfibre peak and the leather one worn by the dapper young man with the shades!
Nice cap super mod, obscure maker with love
your Wolfy
