    Hello John,
I believe this is a Reichsbahn visor with incorrect eagle placed on it.
A little rough around the edges but, if cheap, what the heck.

    Ralph:
It was cheap. 190.00 USD. Just thought it was odd. Now to find the right hardware for it. I seem to like the odd stuff. I don't know why.
    Thanks,
    John

    Hi John ,

    Your visor is actually a " Feuerwehr " ( Fire man's ) visor.....
prussian blue cap , Carmine piping and a black velvet cap band......
Below is an example of an officer's version.

    Regards ,

    Theo

Hiscoll has one for a reasonable price (40 Euro) I dont know if this direct link will work www.hiscoll.com/viewphoto.php?shoph=27043&phqu=2 otherwise go to Hiscoll Military Antiques and do a seach for Polizei Eagle (Feurwehr being a branch of the Police Service)

thanks Guys For all the help. It seems to be not the most desirable visor in the world, but I like it.
    And that's what counts.
