I would say it's a repro...………..is it priced as original or repro ? Avoid it if you want a real one ! cheers Tony
Well, stonemint is of different opinion (and so am I, but who am I compared to someone like spandau - I just love the late-war caps, Schellenbergs & all the others so perhaps wishful thinking), see here post # 44): Legit Visor Caps on Ebay

Hi ErWeSa, Always happy to be corrected, been wrong before and no doubt be wrong again ! If this one is a thumbs up then Apologies from me on jumping in too quick. Aa a personal preference I collect the early made caps so mid/late war stuff isn't my strong point. I just felt the peak and sweatband wasn't quite right. Hope the comment hasn't meant the thread poster has missed out on an opportunity.
best wishes
Tony
kind regards
Tony
It was a beauty--the only issue appears to be that it once had a bullion eagle, since removed (and hopefully not for the auction).
Note the boiled wool band trim (instead of the trikot of the body)--always a good sign:
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
