Re: 25 pounder re-united
Looks good Steve , i did my first Gunnery training on the 25 Pounder before going on to 105 packs and 105 Lights so i've got a soft spot for them
The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )
1st July 1916
Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Re: 25 pounder re-united
Looks good Steve, they are of a similar appearance and size to the US 105's we find quite often, I have found some 25pdr's in the Canadian Sector and near Tilly but always live so I have left them there. That one looks great with the casing
