An Acquired Collection

I purchased this collection on Halloween from the estate of a formerly unknown (to me) military collector. I now know and appreciate him as a fellow collector somewhat more intimately than his family does, although I will never truly know the gentleman or appreciate any other aspect of his life. I truly respect and appreciate the items that he found worthy to add to his collection.

There is at least one item that may well impart some new knowledge in the helmet collecting arena.
