    They look good and display badges very well but medals with ribbons just look a bit scruffy with the ribbons in an untidy heap behind which is why I like to see hanging awards actually hanging when on display.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    Indeed, but I remember a forum member posting a solution with two woden blocks screwed one to a other holding the ribbon up and the medal hanging down from it.
    Pretty well done to me.

    Here's a good cheap one for decorations with a ribbon.They would be great with a mirror behind them so you can see the reverse side of your presentation.
