I started out at Estate Sales. I would just make a list of everything in the area on a Thurs and Fri and hit them first thing in the morning (I work nights so its easy for me to do). By doing that I made some contacts with a few pickers who will grab things on occasion for me. I also watch Craigslist, but ive only made a couple of scores on there. A couple of my really choice 101st items and a Luftwaffe helmet came from a prominent collector. I also will occasionally buy on a few of the forums if the item suit my collection. Lastly, i have a search saved in Ebay for items posted that are posted within a small radius of my home. I try to keep my collection focused on local stuff.

Very nice collection. You'll be catching up with the rest of us soon at this rate. Keeping the names and stories is important. I write everything down and keep it with the item or in the uniform pocket myself.

    Thanks for showing

Its been about a year since I posted any updates on the collection. To sum it up, ive been busy! Did a big time overhaul and purged many unnamed uniforms and equipment. Everything I made off those sales was put back into quality items. Also had a lifetime collection of vintage baseball cards that I sold off, and reinvested the money into some really great things. Several named Airborne uniforms, some great bringback stuff and a lot more. I hope you guys enjoy a few pictures.

    Amazing collection and displays!

Might I ask where the table top mannequins are from or what the brand is?
