Best colour background for a display of EK2s.
I'm thinking I should get around to framing and displaying my collection of EK2s.
I want to use velvet as a background but can't decide the best colour to use to set off the collection to it's best.
I keep thinking of black but then the edges of the ribbons are black and the patina of some of the crosses are black so they might not stand out very well.
I can't decide at the moment, so lets have some suggestions or ideas please!
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Re: Best colour background for a display of EK2s.
Hi Adrian.
It may sound silly, but I tend to use a bottle green felt for showing my cap-badges off. Its also what I tend to use as a background when I take any photos of them and my models, (see the ones that I've posted elsewhere in the forums and see what you think)
Regards etc

For me I like a white/cream neutral background that emphasises the whole cross

In my opinion, i think red looks great as a background color

Hi Adrian, black does it for me. As long as the room you are displaying them in is well lit, black IMO looks pretty awsome.
