I agree, very nice displays !!
I can imagine having head gears on both setups.
- An M1 helmet for the U.S.
- A Mk.II helmet with camo net.
Cheers!

Thanks for the comments, i do have a MkII helmet with a early mk1 liner, excellent condition, but it just does not look right on the stand in proportion to the body, as for an m1 it is incredibly difficult to find one which is original and has not been messed with in the UK. The american stand also has a M1926 USN life belt on it now, and i have a Garand bayonet and a no4 spike bayonet coming.

Whatever
its just an opinion.

Very nice, especially like the rain cape. Just a couple of points on the Briitsh kit; normally the gas mask strap is under the webbing so it holds it in place better when you run (having worn it like you've set it up I can assure you it can get annoying as it flaps around) also it is more normal to put the rain cape under the flap of the small pack rather than above the entrenching tool. The rolled capes in that position you see on photos are more usually anti gas capes. Sorry, I know these are only minor points and I wouldn't be suprised if soldiers set their kit up like this on occasion, but its not the most typical. Either way fantastic displays.

Thanks for the comments, i did look into the proper positioning of the rain cape but i wanted to see the camouflage, it looked a lot better displayed with the other gear instead of hidden in the small pack.
