Article about: by kozowy1967 Some very nice Battle dress and tunics Jerry How many more common wealth countries produced these during the war years I see you yet need to add one from CANADA as well as US.

    Only two recent additions to add to this thread.

    South Wales Borderers officers mess jacket, dated 1932 and the owner died during WWII. Sadly since I have had it the weather has been so poor that I have yet to take good pictures of it.

    Also a pre WWI officers red tunic for the Welsh Regiment, though it has the rank shoulder straps for a major so he must have continued to use it into the war time and post war period, though post WWI he became a Lt Colonel but did not wear it at that rank. There is a full and detailed thread on this in the WWI western allies section.

    I have a few posted in post #9 and another 2 I have yet to post, 1952 dated with its original HQMELF and rank insignia and a WWII US war Aid example.
