Bunch of WW2 items , any info appreciated!
Hello, I am asking on behalf of my grandad about these items. A letter addressed personally from Field Marshall Montgomery to a soldier thanking him for his service, an unknown object with the "Norfolk Regt" badge and cross swords, a german badge with 1939 written on the front and L/13 printed on the pin, a "Norfolk Regt" spoon in its original box an unknown watch that we don't know anything about and a belt buckle with "Gott mit uns". I have posted pictures below and a description.. I just wondered if anyone knew anything about them. It is obvious that's this soldier was part of the Norfolk Regiment, but as for the German badge and buckle, it's a mystery.

Hello Steve, thanks for the reply! Yeah, we don't know a thing about the watch but it's really nice and well maintained. One of the images shows a manafacture name and it's in working order.

'Argentan' is the name of the watch case manufacturer, or the model
of the case. Could it possibly be 9Kt gold ? The watch movement
looks, and is likely Swiss made.
Great finds. The 1st Class Iron Cross has not fared well, and that
will effect the value a lot, but it's still nice. Don't know why
someone would leave these things behind.........

Ah ok, my grandad seems to think the watch is german silver but as for the cross, it's really interesting!

I'm not well acquainted with European watch cases.
The buckle is WWI Imperial Germany.........
