Mounting the items was a pain in the butt but after some trial and error I figured it out, for the lighter items I used two kinds of tape, I put clear mounting tape that is safe for photos and such on the item first, then used double sided foam tape to mount the items to the board, it works good for photos, cloth items and small medals, anything heavier then that I suggest using wire or even fishing line.
