    Hello all!

Not sure if this was the right sub-forum for this but I figured this would be the best place for it. I am lucky to not only have this forum to share this great hobby with, but also have the blessing of sharing the hobby with friends and family. My go's dad drew this for me. He is an artist and is always creating new pieces. He just drew this for me and I love it. My U.S. army air corps and Air Force collecting has been minimal but this will definitely be a great back drop once it grows. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!

I know where the inspiration for the sketch came from. It's from a
WWII pic of Chuck Yeager. I know this because I drew a similar
one many years ago. Chuck is an All American Hero in every
sense of the word - Someone to respect, admire
    and look up to.

He rose from the ranks to become a WWII P-51 Fighter Ace,
( 11.5 victories ) and eventually an Air Force General.
He was also the first man to go faster than
    the speed of sound.........

Chuck IS the man. He is an inspiration. Although I've never met him,
he is one of my favourite people.

Lol Phil - I could draw from the moment I could hold a pencil.........
    Regards,

    Steve.
