I wish I'd read this before telling my wife how much the SA dagger cost. I could never tell her how much an SS one would cost. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has to hide this stuff and let it trickle out bit by bit. Thanks for the chuckle. And that is a gorgeous '30' gold. Not to mention the other terrific looking awards.

On the negative side Iron Crosses don't breed and lay hoards of minis that will grow into Shickles and Ubergrosses that can be sold for mega bucks!

As Britney Spears would say..."Oops, I did it again!"

A few too many Becks beers chased down by more Gentleman Jack has resulted in the following damage to my credit card and another inhabitant of the 'draw of secrets'.

    Sure is purdy tho'

This weekend was another pricey one...

First was a nice M35 double decal Police lid (no pictures yet)

Then a DRL war wounded badge.

Thanks for the kind words Nick and James, I feel like I've bought half the German army let alone their badges! I've just about got most of the basic awards I want now (i think) so hopefully I can slow down soon and start being a bit more selective.

I do have the bonus of work being quiet at the moment so I can pretty much spend 6-odd hours a day cruising dealer sites, participating in forums and doing research which gives me the confidence to buy some slightly higher value items confidently.
