Dinky kit 721, made to promote the epic "Battle of Britain" film.

Not sure if it's been repainted, it looks too clean for me?? Maybe some one can help on here?

I've had it for a long, long time now and the one I was given all those years ago, when the film first came out, has long gone..

I used to love playing with the Dinky Spitfire and Stuka as a kid, watching the propellers going full spin!

And dropping the bomb and losing it in the carpet

Still nice though, and brings back some great memories

I think it's in mint, original condition. If it is repainted they got the colours spot-on correct.

The box is 9/10 and I believe the transfers are fine, as with the instruction sheets.

And yes.. I did play with the Stuka and dropped the bomb

It's safe to assume it's an original, mint condition set.

I got one of these for Xmas many, many years ago-lost the bomb on Xmas day...also had the Spitfire with the electric motor-only problem was that the required 'AAA' size batteries weren't available here at the time!
Have seen a couple of these for sale at toy fairs here, but the above example is absolutely mint, never touched by any child.

PS-Had the Boeing 737 and Beechcraft Baron as well-I was spoiled that Xmas!

From what I always thought/remembered, the Stuka propeller went spinning like the Spitfire...

Just shows that the mind can play tricks on you..

I suppose though, that the Spitfire didn't have a bomb

I'm glad the Stuka is in mint condition and it's brought back good memories for the members on here

That is a real nice Dinky.

It must be one of the earlier Dinky Stukas because when I got mine in the late 70s the box had a plastic lid.

My Stuka isn't anywhere as nice as yours, and the box is long gone but I still have the 'plane itself (and the bomb). I recall that my brother got a Dinky F4 Phantom that Christmas forty years ago.

I never had one, but I want one now!

Still have my Dinky Tanks and stuff from the 70's, no boxes with mud in the tracks.

I'll have to get a photo, great Stuka!
