get yourself a nice frame at a car boot sale or flea market.
I specialy liked thise one for the oak leaf detail it had, very applicable with the theme.

Glue in some magnets.
I had a hard time to find the right one's , finaly came up with magnets found in tool organizers...

Put a nice colored board in (no need to fix it ,as it will be held by the buckles attracted by the magnets).
And some hinges on the side, nod to be used as hinge but as retainer left and right of the frame and the "box".So you slide the frame over the "box". The box can be fixed against the wall.

Your buckles (or what ever in iron) hold up well, can be ajusted and removed at any time, without any probleme or leaving any damage.
