Thumbs up A few of my German things

    Hello,
Last weekend I had several friends over and I laid of some of my collection out on the dining room table. Most of the items were veteran obtained in the AZ area. As you can see I own a few helmets as well.

I would like to thank a friend of mine Wiki for taking the pictures.

    Regards,
    Jody

Thank you, but no Russian Star. It is the Iron Half Moon or Gallipoli Star (it has the rare case to boot).

    Smile Collection

    Hi Ralph,
I am glad you asked. This is one of my favorite items. It is Adolf Hitler's wax seal and letter opener. The letter opener and wax seal are housed in a box with a crushed red satin interior. This item was looted from one of the storerooms at the Berghof by members of the 34th Infantry Division. This item among other Hitler piecess were then obtained from one of these soliders by General Frank Reed. This exact item is seen on page 28 of a "Collectors Guide To Liberated Adolf Hitler Memorabilla, Volume II" by Dr. Mark D. Griffith. This exact arrangement of "AH" is found on another napkin featured on page 17 of the same book. This item has been in my collection since the mid 1980's.

Here are some better pictures of the letter opener, including a book that also came from Hitler's personal library.
