French Medals.

Any information on these medals would be wonderful.........in English please. Are they true and are they FFL ?

The only ones i think i recognise are the croix de combattant (top right) and croix de guerre (top middle).

and top left i believe is a legion d'honneur

Great medal group! This would have been from a soldier who served in ww2 then the French Indochina war up to the Algerian war of independence. In order the medals are :
1. Legion of honour
2. Croix de Guerra for operations in foreign theatres
3. cross of military valor
4. volunteer combatants cross
5. Croix du combatant
6. colonial medal
7. ww2 service medal
8. Indochina war medal
9. north Africa service medal

Cool group that spanned through a interesting period of French/ world history. It is also entirely possible it could have been from a legionnaire but without documents one can never know!
