    Default German cloth insignia collection

I have never posted any of my collection in this section, so here is most of my WWII German cloth insignia collection. I have some more KM trade badges, but I could not find them, as some stuff is still packed from moving countries a few months back.

    Regards,

    Jerry

PS individual pictures of most of this can be found in the appropriate sections.

I love the eagles mate, I reckon they make great collection subjects, they look terrific and are relatively affordable compared with other German ww11 items. They really present well too.

Awesome collection mate I love the blitzes!! especially the hand stitched ones theyre works of art, If you have any spares let me know

Also I think you have a bad one in the bunch... That really thin Artillery blitz with the strange looking green background looks like a "patch king" fake to me.

You could be right about the thin red blitz, it is certainly different to the rest, though I would say that it came from a very reliable source, if my memory is correct and was part of a trade of items, so probably did not really cost me anything or very little at most.

    Thanks for all the comments.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... But I just double checked and It definately is a bad one, notice the backing is hand cut opposed to stamped out? These were made by a company in America called patch king they started making these as far back as the late 1940s so this could actually be quite old. Anyway not to worry the rest of the collection is great, thanks for sharing them.

    cheers Luke.

Thanks Luke and I'll take your word for it, no big problem, as I said it did not cost a lot and I know some people think the patch king patches are interesting and collectible in their own right, since as you said they started making these during the war.
