I would just like to say I am overwhelmed by the response and positive words written by everyone that has taken the time to leave a comment

Thank you Nick, Stuka, Paul, Glenn, Gizmo and Mark.

Some good ideas there Gizmo, cheers.

I purchased the display cabinet from Ikea! It was a bloody heavy package I managed to get it into the car tho

It's called 'klingsbo' and cost 89!!

I told the wife that it was pure chance the wallpaper matched but in reality choose the cabinet first and designed the decor around that

    Thanks again

    Jay

Nicely displayed Jay, they look great with the shoulderboards and representative awards placed around them. What maker is the Artillery Officer cap?

Very nice display. I like the glass cabinet display. It really lets you show your collection quite well.

    Very nice display Jay!
I was very impressed when I bought two of the Detolf cases and put some of my collection in them. It really improves the appearance of the display.

Looks great Jay, good luck with the baby. Do you want to trade wives, she's certainly a keeper if she's letting you put your toys out. I'm not so lucky.

Hi Adrian the Artillery visor is a vented Erel and definately my favourite!
Is there any way of finding out what Art Reg 61 did in the war or for that matter Inf reg 7 as thats the other grouping??

    Cheers Roger

Hi Ralph, I was going to get the detolf at first but went for this as it's bigger with more shelves.

Thanks Jay, I was shocked too when the wife gave it the thumbs up!!
    Maybe it's the hormones eh

    Hi chaps,

After going mad decorating for the last six months getting everything ready for the new baby arrival (1st of march!) I've just finished me and the wifes bedroom.

I treated myself to a new display cabinet to get everything that was hidden away in boxes out in the open!

Surpisingly the wife didn't object and is actually impressed with it!

    I hope you like it!!

    Thanks for looking

    Jay
