    Hiya Steve, thanks, you are kind. I only did two and a half years. I was attached to the Royal Army Ordnance Corps at Donnington. They said I would never be posted there as it was very close to home, but that is where I ended up! It was during the Falklands War and we had lots of captured Argentinean weapons shipped back to sort through. We used to have a Police escort when they were sent to be melted down.

    That is an impressive collection. And you added more since 2003 Are you planning on opening a museum?
    I dunno who has the largest ww2 womens uniform collection in the UK? There has been a few each one is a gem.

    Hi Lez,
    Very nice collection you have it takes time and effort to collect that amount i should imagine, Glad you,er getting better.
    I remember the Police Escorts to Warminster workshops with a vehicle full of weapons, dodgy times in the seventies / eighties, and also remember my dad telling me about his hospital blues to.
