    Rene' its favour time again ,ive recently been given a section of aus cam material and im hoping to make a decent cover for my pasgt ,ive noticed you have an example in your collection and ive inadvertedly emulated yours ,do the covers have a standard pull cord for tightness or velcro tabs ?Name:  IMG_3983%20(Large).JPG

    If memory serves me correct James this is an Australian variation of a Despatch Riders helmet.

    Found a Canadian Mk II Medics Helmet and yes I know they are about as rare as hens teeth !!!!!

    Nice one James, it's pretty well the same cut as the US type. also Aust army weren't issued with helmet bands

    Mark is on the money on this one, also used as para training helmets WW2. Here's a typical riders set up

    Nice additions Rene there are a few of us currently discussing the scarf/beanie on a different forum would you be kind enough to measure the length and width for me and maybe take a couple more pics as there were two different variations that were issued to British and or Canadian soldiers alike.
