    Rene' its favour time again ,ive recently been given a section of aus cam material and im hoping to make a decent cover for my pasgt ,ive noticed you have an example in your collection and ive inadvertedly emulated yours ,do the covers have a standard pull cord for tightness or velcro tabs ?Head Gear CollectionHead Gear Collection

    If memory serves me correct James this is an Australian variation of a Despatch Riders helmet.

    Nice one James, it's pretty well the same cut as the US type. also Aust army weren't issued with helmet bands

    Nice additions Rene there are a few of us currently discussing the scarf/beanie on a different forum would you be kind enough to measure the length and width for me and maybe take a couple more pics as there were two different variations that were issued to British and or Canadian soldiers alike.
