Default Homemade WWII style German road sign - need feedback !

Need some feedback - it is first my "artistic" venture. Decided to make a repro road sign (field made) for my man cave - Rekau (small village in East Prussia) with tactical marking for motorcycle messenger platoon. How is the overall look with the weathering ? Thanks !

Pretty nice. The wear patterns (distressing) on the wood looks a little repetitive?
